Golf East  Architectural Request Form

The Golf East Architectural Committee (AC) will inspect and notify lot/home owners and current residents of all areas out of compliance with GE protocols. As a reminder, if the issue is not corrected the Golf East covenants allow the Board to take necessary actions to correct the issue and bill the home/lot owner for any costs associated with the correction.

Areas Most Often Needing Attention:

  • Maintenance of Lots / Home Sites:  Lots and residences should be free of tall grasses and weeds, undergrowth, trash, dead trees and limbs, and rubbish so as to maintain a pleasing appearance. Residents and lot owners are reminded not to place limbs or yard rubbish on roadsides until the yard waste pick up date is announced by the GE Facilities, Roads, and Drainage Committee.

  • No trailers, trucks, boats, buses, etc. should be regularly parked on premises without approval of the GE Architectural Committee.

  • No signs allowed in yards.

  • Dogs: No kennels are allowed. No more than two dogs are permitted per household. It is the pet owner’s responsibility to clean up after their pet when using common areas, i.e. walking on Carolina Trace roads or golf course.

  • No fences unless the fence is used for protecting swimming pools or screening propane tanks or heating and air conditioning units. Underground electric pet fences are authorized.

Use of swimming pools in other POA’s is prohibited, unless invited by a member of that POA. Since GE does not have a common swimming pool, GE residents are encouraged to join the Carolina Trace Country Club and use the club’s pool.

Walking on the Club’s golf cart path by club members can only be done in the early morning or late afternoon, after there are no golfers using the course. For Club/Pool members using their golf carts to go to and from the club using the 18th hole cart path: golfers always have the right of way and care should be taken not to interfere with their game. Nonmembers are not allowed use of the cart paths or any club property/facilities.
