Facilities, Roads and Drainage Committee
The Facilities Committee is responsible for maintaining all facilities, common land, roads, culverts, trenches and drainage ditches owned by the GE POA - to include the irrigation and electricity at the Golf East entrance Island, road signs, street signs and any structure owned by Golf East. The committee coordinates periodic limb, branch, and yard waste collection, coordinates and contracts for common area facility work including tree removal, repairs and maintenance of roadways and the drainage system. It prepares and manages the annual budget for facility maintenance, and the annual roads and drainage budget. Board approval is required for all work in excess of $3,500.
It is important for residents to know that while the committee is responsible for keeping drainage alongside the roads in good repair the property owners are responsible for keeping the culverts under their driveways clear.
2025 Limb Pick-Ups
Limb pickups are scheduled quarterly and provide opportunity for residents to dispose of limbs and sticks that fall into the yards. Leaves are not removed during these pickups, however, and residents are responsible for the removal of these. All piles gathered for limb pick ups should remain out of sight until the designated time to place street-side. Thank you for helping us keep our community beautiful and safe. Also, please remember that residents are responsible for keeping their ditches clear of leaves, sticks, limbs and other debris. The flow of water is interrupted when ditches are not maintained.
